Bharat Ko Jaano Partiyogita


Bharat Ko Jano competition is a quiz program for the school children to increase their awareness about the distinctive features of our country and culture.


Before the “Bharat Ko Jano” project was taken at the national level,  this  had successfully been implemented  U.P. West Prant of Bharat Vikas Parishad for a number of years. In the year 2000, it was decided to conduct this program  on  an experimental  basis in all the eight Prants of U.P. state. Encouraged by its success, it was decided to adopt it as an all India Project.


This “Bharat Ko Jano” program has generated great interest among the students.  Now over 10 lakh students from over 6,500 schools annually participate in this program. During 2015-16, record 2.35 lakh “Bharat Ko Jano” books were distributed among the school students for this competition.

This Quiz Competition was held in our school. Most of the students took part in this Quiz competition.

Diwali Celebration

Diwali is the biggest and the brightest festiwal among all Hindu festivals. It's the festival of lights (deep = light and avali = a row i.e., a row of lights) 
Welcoming the festival of lights, students of GIlly Mundy Memorial Community School, Lehrian, spread their creative minds in  activities on Tuesday (11-11-2015). Students Participated in various activity. Inter-house competitions were organized in school  for the student .
