"No Homework Policy" for classes I and II

The HRD Ministry issued directives on November 26 which state that :

• Students of classes 1 and 2 will only study language and maths
• Students of classes 3 to 5 will study languages, maths and EVS.

This needed to be implemented across all the states and union territories of India.
